The Outbound Index can be queried by the vast majority of email servers, via multiple DnsBL style queries, for which configuration is well-documented. However, greater functionality is available by configuring your mail system to perform SIQ protocol queries as explained below. **SIQ Protocol** The <a href="http://outboundindex.org/siqprotocol.html">SIQ protocol</A> queries include both the sender domain and the sending server IP address. SendmailConfiguration This configuration has been working since July 2003 in a production environment of about 800 email users.
